I've been directed to list some blogs that I enjoy on this brand new blog of mine. The list given as a directive consists of library blogs.
I don't generally read library blogs, but as a librarian, I suppose I should. I prefer political blogs, when I read them. I will try _free range librarian_ to get a taste of what's out there in the realm of the library blogosphere.
Well, this free-range librarian, a very clever and accomplished woman, Air Force veteran, writer, and librarian extraordinaire, seems to have built a small world of her own on the internet.
Once again, I feel pulled not to do the same myself. I feel that free-range has opened her skull up so that others may peer inside. I do not know her personally, and don't feel that reading every thought that comes into her head or event in her life will let me be her friend. The description of the installation of the cat-door was just one example of the minutia that one tells one's significant other while making dinner. No thanks!
Of course, the blog makes one feel bad for NOT living ones life on the computer, doesn't it? Aren't we all supposed to reveal ourselves here?
