I was able to upload the Zoho document to my blog. I guess I need to try to upload an excel file or something more complex to see how that turns out.
I'm very glad that I've gotten a chance to see some of the many things out there. I suppose if I were a world traveller always using any old computer around, the web apps would be more important to me.
They would be very valuable also for those who have access to a computer and can't afford a word processing program. Unfortunately, those are the people who probably would be the least likely to know about this. Isn't the world a strange place.

Zoho writer document
I'm very happy to discover Zoho writer.
I knew there were shared web-based word processing programs out there, but I had never tried one. What a great way to share documents -- almost like a wiki. Our office has a shortage of Microsoft Office suites for all computers and this will allow everyone to be able to do word processing without the added expense.
Of course, I always worry about security when it comes to the web...

Deliciously tagging
Added yet another log-in to my fat list of them. That is really the bad thing about all of this joining. Who knows what your password is, anyway? And certainly, if they know what your password is, they can probably get into everything, because who wants to make up a new one every time?
Didn't do the technorati thing. I want to remain anonymous. Can't find my blog? Good!
Del.icio.us is annoying to type, but would come in handy to have all your favorites available wherever you go. All this setting up is work!
Computers are supposed to simplify, but tend to add up to more work along with hard copy. Sometimes I don't know if it's worth it, except when I need to look up something strange and want to know in an instant. Definitely worth it then.
